Carpet cleaning in Clift's Cove for carpet on its second decade
Three rooms for $109, dry in about an hour, and a 15-minute run for the crew already working this side of Madison. Clift's Cove filled in through the 2000s and 2010s, and the people who moved in mostly stayed. So the work up here is tired carpet, not new-build dirt.

The houses on the slope
Large brick homes where a small patch of carpet takes all the wear

Clift's Cove climbs the wooded side of Rainbow Mountain off Clifts Cove Boulevard, with Balch Road on one side and Gillespie Road on the other. The homes are custom and semi-custom brick from the 2000s and 2010s, four to seven bedrooms, running from roughly 3,600 square feet to well over 10,000.
Square footage like that fools people into expecting a huge cleaning bill. It's usually the opposite. In these floor plans the carpet lives in a tight set of rooms: bedrooms upstairs, the bonus room over the garage, a media or playroom, and the staircase tying them together.
Fewer rooms carrying the same household means each one ages faster than the house does. Twenty years on, we're generally looking at either the original carpet or its one replacement, in a home nobody has any intention of leaving.

Fifteen years of feet
Dirty and worn are different problems, and only one of them cleans up
Half the calls we take from this neighborhood open with a version of the same line: it's probably too far gone. Nine times out of ten it isn't. What long-term traffic leaves in carpet is oily soil locked onto the fiber, and that comes out with the right pre-spray and enough patience.
What doesn't come out is abrasion. Where the pile has been physically ground down, at the nose of a stair tread or the turn at the top of the landing, the fiber is shortened for good. No chemistry rebuilds it, and anybody who tells you otherwise wants your deposit.
So we sort the two before quoting. A hidden strip inside a closet shows what your carpet looked like new, and the difference between that and the lane is the part we can move. You'll hear which is which at the door, in writing, before a machine comes off the truck.
The process itself is low moisture, which is how a house this size gets walked on again the same afternoon. The full explanation lives on our carpet cleaning page, and there's a plain-English carpet care and maintenance guide if you want to stretch the years between visits.
What Clift's Cove calls about
Stairs first, bonus room second, rugs before company
The main staircase
Every trip through a two-story house lands on the same fifteen treads, so the stairs go dark years ahead of the bedrooms they lead to. Flights start at $40 each, and a second set off the kitchen prices the same way.
The bonus room over the garage
Teenagers, controllers, and food. It's the least supervised carpet in the house and often the biggest single space, so it prices as a large room starting at $50 rather than a standard room from $40.
Wool and hand-knotted rugs
Formal dining and entry rugs in these homes are often the real thing. Rugs start at $1 per square foot, and every rug is cleaned on your own floor. Nothing gets rolled up and hauled away. See rug cleaning.
The room saved for guests
Sofas start at $140, sectionals at $240, recliners from $40, dining chairs from $10 each. Velvet and linen price differently and we say so at the door. See upholstery cleaning, or pet stain and odor removal starting at $30 a room if the dog claimed a corner.
What it costs
A big house doesn't get a big-house price
$109 covers three rooms up to 450 square feet on Clifts Cove Boulevard exactly like it does on a starter street. Extra rooms start at $40, large rooms from $50, hallways from $20, stairs from $40 a flight, and the high-traffic add-on starts at $20 per room when a lane needs the extra work.
Nothing is measured off your tax appraisal. We count rooms, we write the total down, and you approve it before we start.
FREE
Love the clean or it's free. On restoration work that promise matters more than usual, because we would rather lose the job than take money for a lane that was never coming back.

Clift's Cove questions we get asked
Do you serve Clift's Cove and the Balch Road area?
Yes, most weeks. Clift's Cove is about 15 minutes out Hwy 72 and down Balch Road on our Madison run, and the whole stretch between Balch and Gillespie is on that route sheet. The techs working it live in Madison, so nobody needs the turns explained. The drive doesn't change the price: $109 for three rooms up to 450 square feet, extra rooms from $40, and no trip charge tied to the address.
Can 15-year-old carpet be brought back?
A long way, usually, though not always all the way. Fifteen years of walking leaves two things behind, oily soil bonded to the fiber and real abrasion at the wear points, and only the soil comes out. A lane that reads dark against the closet carpet cleans up dramatically. Pile that has been ground flat at the top of a staircase stays flat. We check a hidden strip first and tell you which one you have.
What does traffic-lane restoration involve?
A pre-spray matched to how heavy the soil is, then real dwell time while it breaks the bond, then agitation worked through the pile in both directions before extraction. Cutting the dwell short is how a lane ends up looking half-finished. On badly walked rooms the high-traffic add-on starts at $20 per room and each flight of stairs starts at $40. The carpet is walkable in about an hour.
How often should established-neighborhood carpet be cleaned?
Once a year handles most houses on these streets. Go to every six to nine months on the staircase and the upstairs hall if there's a dog in the house, teenagers, or both. The reason is money rather than appearance. Grit left down in the pile works like sandpaper against the fiber every time somebody walks on it, so carpet cleaned on a schedule outlasts carpet that waits for a party.
