What do landlords look for at walk-through?
Property managers walk the same rooms with the same move-in photos you signed off on, and carpet is one of the first lines on the form. Here's what their eyes go to.
Traffic lanes
The gray path from the door to where the couch sat. Soil-based lanes clean out. Fiber worn flat by years of feet is normal wear and tear, and that belongs on the owner's side of the ledger, not yours.
Spots and spills

Do you provide receipts or documentation for landlords?

Can you clean after the furniture is already gone?

The job goes faster and nothing gets missed. If you can sequence it, put us on the calendar for the day after the movers finish.
What if the movers left marks on the carpet?
Depends on the mark. Boot scuffs, dolly-wheel lines, and tracked-in dirt clean out with the rest of the job. Furniture dents usually relax with grooming and a little moisture, though carpet that sat under a dresser for eight years may keep some memory. A snag or tear is damage, not dirt, and we'll tell you that on the spot instead of charging you to find out.
How fast can you get to me during PCS season?
