The community wraps 850 acres around an 18-hole Ron Garl championship course, with Piney Creek cutting through the middle of it. You come in off US-72 at I-65, and Canebrake Club Drive is the road everything else hangs from, including Cog Hill and the villa streets nearest the clubhouse.
Housing here runs from club cottages and golf villas up through executive patio homes and custom estates, built from the 1990s forward. Square footage varies a lot; the flooring habit doesn't: wood and tile down the main path, denser carpet in bedrooms, bonus rooms and stairs, and real rugs in the formal rooms.
Better fiber changes what goes wrong. Wool blends and heavy cut pile don't thin out on a normal schedule the way light polyester does. They go dull and gritty at the base of the pile instead, which most owners read as fading years before anything is truly worn.

Bunkers get raked and greens get topdressed, and that sand is fine enough to ride home in a shoe tread or the bottom of a golf bag. Dog paws bring it in too, after a lap down by Piney Creek. It sifts past the pile tips and settles at the backing, out of sight.
